My third trip to Iceland brought waterfalls, colourful canyons, tiny coastal towns, ridiculously good weather and yet another long list of reasons I need to go back

After decades of treating Montreal mostly as an airport, we finally gave the city a proper visit. A long weekend of wandering Old Montreal, exploring markets, drinking excellent coffee and craft beer, and eating our way around the city.

Pyramids, temples, 3:00 AM wake-ups, a few wonderfully lazy days sailing the Nile, and a group of people who made me laugh constantly. Egypt was chaotic, exhausting, welcoming, fascinating and even better than I expected.

A two-week adventure through Portugal and Spain filled with ancient ruins, castles, tapas, and travel industry connections. From Lisbon’s lively streets and Sintra’s fairy-tale palaces to Seville’s flamenco rhythms and León’s historic charm, this journey blended food, culture, and a dash of work. Highlights included baking pastéis de nata, sipping wine in a cave, wandering medieval towns, and reconnecting with fellow travel professionals at the ACTA International Destination

A soon-to-expire flight pass, a weak dollar, and a craving for something new led us west - all the way to Victoria. From lazy harbour walks and quiet mornings in Beacon Hill Park to wine tastings in Cowichan Valley and a deep dive into the city’s food and craft beer scene, this trip turned into the perfect mix of relaxed exploration and tasty discovery. Here’s how a few days on Vancouver Island showed us that even the other side of the country can feel like home.
